Online Purchase &
Consumer Terms.
These terms explain the main consumer rules that apply when you buy physical goods, digital content, event places, training or private services online from Luminous Living Limited.
1. The business you are buying from
Your contract is with Luminous Living Limited, company number 10581985, trading publicly as Luminous Experiences by Luminous Living.
Registered office: 1 Craftsman Square, Temple Farm Ind Estate, Southend On Sea, SS2 5RH. Client and operational address: 7 Rylands Road, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 4LW. Email: info@luminousexperiences.com. Phone: 07377 936886.
2. Prices, payment and contract confirmation
The total amount payable is shown before you complete payment. Where delivery is charged, the delivery cost is disclosed before payment. Online card payments are processed on Stripe-hosted checkout; Luminous does not receive or store your full card number.
A contract is formed when payment has been accepted and Luminous or its payment/booking system confirms the order or booking, subject to any clearly stated eligibility requirement such as Medicine Wheel progression.
Keep your payment receipt and confirmation email. They form part of the durable record of your transaction.
3. Ceremonial cacao and other physical goods
Ceremonial cacao is currently sold at the price shown on the product page and checkout. UK postage is £4.50 for one or two 454g blocks, up to 1kg. UK delivery address details are collected securely at checkout.
Unless another delivery time is agreed with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is made.
For most distance purchases of goods, consumers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods. If you cancel, tell us clearly by email or use the model cancellation wording below. You then normally have a further 14 days to return the goods. Statutory exceptions can apply in particular circumstances. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have for faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
Please contact us before returning cacao so we can give you the correct return instructions and tell you whether any statutory exception applies to the condition or packaging of the specific goods.
4. Digital guided journeys and other streamed/downloaded content
Digital content may be supplied by streaming, online access or another electronic delivery method described before purchase.
If you ask us to provide paid digital content immediately during the 14-day cancellation period, we will obtain your express consent to immediate supply and your acknowledgement that you lose the statutory 14-day cancellation right once supply of the digital content begins. We keep a record of that acknowledgement.
If those consents have not been obtained, your statutory rights are not reduced by these terms. Your confirmation will identify the digital product purchased and the relevant access information.
5. Dated L.E.D. events and other date-specific leisure experiences
Where an event or leisure experience is booked for a specific date or period, the usual statutory 14-day cooling-off right may not apply. The event-specific cancellation, transfer or rescheduling terms shown or supplied before purchase will apply, subject always to your statutory rights and the requirement that consumer terms are fair.
If Luminous cancels an event and cannot offer an agreed alternative, we will explain the remedy available to you.
6. Training and private services
Medicine Wheel training has eligibility and progression requirements. Public payment for the South direction is an entry route; later directions are not made available for unrestricted public purchase where prerequisites apply.
Private 1:1 appointments use a calendar-first process. An available Tuesday appointment is provisionally held before the correct payment route is sent. Additional booking and participation terms are set out in the Private Client Terms.
If you expressly ask a service to begin during a statutory cancellation period, the law may allow a proportionate charge for service already supplied if the required pre-contract information and request have been provided. These terms do not remove any cancellation right that applies to your particular contract.
7. Problems with an order or service
Please contact info@luminousexperiences.com promptly if an item is damaged, an order is incorrect, digital access does not work, or a service is not supplied as agreed. We will assess the issue under the contract and your statutory consumer rights.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods and services or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Model cancellation wording
You do not have to use this wording, but you may copy and email it to info@luminousexperiences.com where a statutory cancellation right applies:
To Luminous Living Limited:
I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following goods/service: [describe purchase].
Ordered on / received on: [date].
Name: [name].
Address: [address].
Date: [date].
9. Privacy and payment security
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Notice. Optional analytics is off until you consent. Card details are entered on the payment provider's hosted checkout and are not stored in Luminous website page code.
