Know Your Cacao.
Know Its Story.

Premium Guatemalan ceremonial cacao sourced through Cacao Source, with provenance, relationship and respect for the people, land and artisanal process behind it. For some people, cacao is simply a beautiful drink. For others it becomes a way to create a pause in the day, mark an intention, sit with a journal, share something meaningful with a friend or begin a personal ritual that asks them to slow down and be present.

One sip at a time.

The Luminous pack brings the cacao used within our ceremonial and experiential work into a simple take-home format, so you can create your own intentional moment without needing to attend a ceremony every time.

You might prepare it before journalling, meditation or a guided journey; share it during a conversation that matters; use it to open a quiet morning; or simply enjoy the process of making something slowly and intentionally. Know where your cacao comes from

From seed to paste,
people matter.

Cacao Source is a Guatemalan social enterprise working with small-scale farming communities, Kaq'chikel women’s collectives and an intercultural leadership team.

Every cacao seed used in its ceremonial blocks is hand-peeled in San Marcos la Laguna by Kaq'chikel women’s collectives, with transformation from seed to paste taking place through artisan, human-scale relationships.

What makes ceremonial cacao different?

Whole cacao.
Minimally processed.

Whole cacao beans

Ceremonial cacao is made from whole cacao beans and retains its natural cacao butter and characteristic full flavour. It is richer and more substantial than ordinary cocoa powder.

Simple preparation

Use hot water or your preferred plant milk, prepare slowly and choose a serving strength that suits you. Begin gently if cacao is new to you and give yourself time to notice how the preparation feels for your body.

Intentional use

Enjoy it as a personal reflective ritual, before a Luminous guided journey, as part of a shared gathering or simply as a deliberate moment of quiet in an otherwise busy day.

Create the kind of pause you need. A mug, some quiet, a clear intention and a few uninterrupted minutes can be enough. The ceremonial context and provenance are shared so you can enjoy the cacao with a deeper understanding of where it comes from.
