The organisational challenge

Wellbeing provision only matters if people engage with it — and feel a difference.

High-pressure working environments can leave people carrying sustained cognitive and emotional load, with less recovery, lower energy, weaker connection and greater risk of disengagement. Many organisations already provide wellbeing content and support; the gap is often participation, felt impact and a clear way to understand what changed.

Luminous Experiences is designed as a professionally facilitated experiential intervention: a shared live experience, structured reflection, optional digital integration and measurable aggregate insight where contracted. It complements existing EAP, Occupational Health and wellbeing provision rather than replacing them.

Stress regulation & recovery

Guided attention, movement, breath and structured transitions create practical space for people to downshift from sustained work mode and reconnect with recovery.

Engagement

Embodied, participative delivery creates a different entry point from another content library or information-led wellbeing session.

Connection & belonging

Shared participation gives colleagues a way to experience one another beyond task, hierarchy and role, without requiring personal disclosure.

Measurable continuation

Where the Portal is included, Luminous can extend the experience through structured integration and appropriately aggregated participation and outcome insight.

What the half-day actually feels like

A complete Luminous Experience from arrival to integration.

The half-day is 3.5 hours. The exact order is adapted to the brief, group and venue, but the core journey is designed to move people through arrival, shared participation, immersive guided work, movement, stillness and reflection.

Arrival

Cacao welcome & settling in

A warm, intentional opening that helps people arrive, transition out of work mode and understand what will happen. Participation is voluntary and the corporate experience is framed inclusively.

Warm-up

Guided movement & body preparation

A professionally facilitated warm-up prepares the room physically and socially before the higher-energy L.E.D. section.

Journey

Approx. 45-minute guided reset / immersive journey

Music, focused attention, breath, imagery and guided reflection create a deeper reset before the movement arc.

L.E.D.

Approx. 90-minute headphone-led Luminous Ecstatic Dance

Participants move through the structured five-stage L.E.D. flow: warm-up, shake, freestyle dance, wind-down and stillness, using silent-disco headphones.

Landing

Wind-down, grounding & stillness

The experience deliberately slows. Yoga mats support the quieter closing phase where required, giving people time to settle before returning to the working day.

Integration

Reflection & practical close

Participants are guided to notice what shifted, what they want to carry forward and how the experience can translate back into work, culture and relationships.

Inside a Luminous Experience

A different way for colleagues to experience one another.

Headphones create an immersive personal sound world while people remain part of one shared room. Guided movement, reflection and carefully held transitions give colleagues a chance to step outside ordinary work roles and participate together in a genuinely different way.

Clear instruction, active facilitation and structured transitions distinguish Luminous from an unstructured silent-disco session.

Choose the depth

Half-day or full experiential day.

Both options retain the same Luminous production standard. The full day creates more space for a second experiential arc, deeper integration, longer breaks and more tailored group work.

Half-Day Luminous Experience

3.5 hours

Best for wellbeing days, employee experience programmes, away days, conference side-programming and team connection events where the organisation wants one substantial shared intervention.

Full Experiential Day

Extended live experience

For organisations that want more depth: additional experiential work, more integration time and a broader day architecture rather than one contained half-day intervention.

Transparent investment

Pricing by experience capacity.

For teams of 40–60, the 3.5-hour half-day is £65 per person: £2,600 for 40, £3,250 for 50 or £3,900 for 60. For 61–100 people, the group package is £4,500. Larger-group and full-day prices are shown below.

Conference, festival & bespoke activations

Different settings can call for a different kind of Luminous Experience.

Alongside the core half-day and full-day formats, selected briefs can include high-energy L.E.D., guided reset spaces and other tailored experiential elements adapted to the audience, venue and purpose. Any specialist or ceremonial element sits within a separately scoped bespoke brief rather than the standard corporate programme.

L.E.D. activation

Headphone-led music and movement for conferences, festivals and larger shared settings.

Guided reset space

A quieter immersive option using guided experience, reflection and intentional recovery.

Bespoke experiential activation

A tailored participative format designed around the audience, setting and organisational purpose, with clear choice, professional boundaries and voluntary participation.

Before you book

Practical answers for your team day.

Can we use our own meeting room?

Yes, if it is suitable for the group and activities. We need clear floor space for movement and the lying-down guided journey, plus access for equipment. A room’s seated meeting capacity is not the same as its experience capacity. Share the room dimensions and furniture layout when enquiring.

How long do we need access to the venue?

The experience lasts 3.5 hours. Setup and pack-down need an additional 1–2 hours combined, depending on site access. Plan for approximately 4.5–5.5 hours of access overall; we agree the precise arrival and departure times with you.

Do colleagues have to dance or use a blindfold?

Participation is voluntary throughout. There is no dance routine to learn or performance to get right, and no requirement to disclose personal information. Tell us about access or participation needs during planning so we can discuss suitable choices.

Is travel included for our location?

Transport is included within approximately two hours’ driving time each way from Southend. For locations further away, additional travel, fuel or overnight accommodation costs may apply. We confirm any extra costs in writing before booking.

What should we include in an enquiry?

Your expected group size, preferred date, venue location, room dimensions if known, and the kind of team occasion you are planning. We can start with a written enquiry; a 20-minute discovery call is also available.

Is this a team-building workshop or a wellbeing experience?

It is a facilitated wellbeing experience that gives colleagues space to connect through shared participation. It is not communication training, a competitive challenge or clinical treatment. It can form part of a team away day, staff wellbeing day or workplace event.

Built From Both Sides of the Workplace

Corporate understanding.
Experiential depth.

Charmaine Davis spent seventeen years in banking before burnout changed the direction of her life. Her subsequent study and training spans psychotherapy and counselling, shamanic practice, ecstatic dance and years of experiential facilitation.

That combination matters in corporate settings. Luminous does not ask employees to adopt private-practice language, spiritual beliefs or unfamiliar frameworks. The work is translated into inclusive, professionally facilitated experiences with clear boundaries, voluntary participation and a practical organisational context.

“I am not asking organisations to come into my world. I am bringing the work carefully and professionally into theirs.”

Luminous Integration Portal

The experience does not end when the music stops.

The live event can continue through a 90-day Portal pilot or annual licence, giving people guided journeys, micro-practices and structured integration after the shared experience.

Live experience → private reflection → continued integration → aggregate organisational insight.

Individual employee reflections are not provided to the employer.

Digital continuation

A structured place to return after the live experience.

Guided journeys, reflective practices and integration tools extend the Luminous pathway beyond the event and give employees a structured place to return.

Workplace wellbeing alignment

Built to sit inside a wider wellbeing strategy.

Luminous is designed to complement an organisation’s existing wellbeing provision rather than compete with it. The approach aligns with relevant principles in Business in the Community’s Workwell Model, particularly prevention and whole-person wellbeing, better work, inclusive participation, leadership responsibility and appropriate specialist support.

Preventative & participative

Shared experiences create a practical wellbeing layer before support needs become solely clinical or reactive.

Whole-organisation fit

Luminous can sit alongside EAP, Occupational Health, leadership activity and wider People & Culture programmes as one part of a broader system.

Measure without surveillance

Where contracted, the Portal can support appropriately aggregated participation and outcome themes while private employee reflections remain private.

Luminous Experiences is not presented as BITC-accredited, BITC-approved or endorsed by BITC. The reference is to alignment with relevant Workwell principles.

Professional boundaries

Inclusive, voluntary and workplace-safe.

Corporate delivery uses inclusive, non-religious language. No spiritual belief is required, participation is voluntary and employees are not required to disclose personal information.

Complementary provision

Luminous is not a substitute for EAP, Occupational Health or clinical care. It sits alongside existing support as a preventative, participative experiential layer.

Accessible participation

Movement and reflective activities are framed with choice, alternatives and practical guidance rather than pressure to perform.

Organisation-ready

Scope, participant numbers, logistics, venue needs, equipment, event flow and responsibilities are clarified before delivery.

Independent recognition

Proof beyond our own words.

Independent recognition sits alongside founder background, real participant reviews and visible delivery evidence when Luminous is assessed by HR, People, Culture, procurement or partners.

Genuine participant evidence

What people actually say about Luminous.

The words below come from people who have experienced Luminous directly across L.E.D. and private practice. They speak to the care, safety, energy and quality of facilitation that sit behind every Luminous experience.

“I absolutely recommend Luminous Ecstatic Dance, it’s a time to find yourself and reflect, the amount of effort that goes into these events behind the scenes is massive and it shows in the work done. The kindness, safety and love that you feel when you attend, and each event goes from strength to strength. It is also a great event to meet new like minded people and forge life long friendships.”

Sarah HickeyGoogle Review · L.E.D. participant

“Charmaine is an incredible LED dance practitioner. I've attended many LED dance sessions over the years & each one is a beautiful journey. My confidence getting out of my head, into my body & moving to the music has grown so much thanks to these sessions. I'd highly recommend LED to anyone!”
