Dance like no one is watching. L.E.D. is a headphone-led movement experience for people who want to get out of their head, reconnect with their body and remember what it feels like to move without being judged. You do not need to be a dancer, know any steps or feel confident before you arrive. The five-stage journey gives you enough guidance to feel held, with enough freedom to make the experience completely your own.
A lot of adults have forgotten how to move without thinking about how they look. We spend our days sitting, performing, problem-solving, caring for other people and living in our heads. L.E.D. creates a different kind of space: no choreography, no mirrors, no competition and no pressure to entertain anyone.
The headphones help narrow the outside world so you can follow the music, Charmaine’s guidance and your own body rather than the room around you.
You can move as much or as little as you want. Blindfolds may be offered where appropriate, but they are always optional. There is no correct way to dance and nobody is grading the experience.
L.E.D. can be playful, emotional, energising, quiet or all of those things across one session. The room shares the journey together while each person remains free to have their own experience.
Structured enough to help you feel safe. Free enough for you to stop performing and move in your own way.
Wireless headphones create an immersive personal sound world while the room remains collectively connected. Charmaine guides the transitions so you never have to wonder what happens next, but the freestyle section belongs to you. You can dance hard, sway, stretch, pause, laugh, close your eyes or simply listen.
The landing matters as much as the high-energy section. L.E.D. deliberately gives your body time to slow down before you leave, rather than ending abruptly at the peak of the music.
L.E.D. is easier to understand when you see the room in motion: headphones on, lights alive, people moving in their own way and the whole space travelling through the experience together.

Arrive from 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start. The experience runs until 10:00pm in Southend-on-Sea and includes cacao, L.E.D. and a 45-minute guided journey.
Ticket £65. You can pay in full now, or secure your place with a £30 deposit and pay the remaining £35 at any time up to and including 4th February.
The £30 deposit is non-refundable but fully transferable to another person. If you need to transfer your booking, reply to your ticket email with the new attendee’s name and email address.
Wear comfortable clothes for dancing inside and outside. Bring a yoga mat, blanket and bottle or flask of water. Everyone brings something scrumptious for the food share after the dance and before the lying-down guided journey. This is strictly a no alcohol or drugs event.
