Booking & Participation Terms
Clear booking, payment, participation and service information for private Luminous Living appointments. Any cancellation or rescheduling terms that apply to a booking are supplied before payment and confirmation.
1. Who you are booking with
Luminous Living Ltd provides private shamanic practice, practitioner training, L.E.D. experiences, guided journeys and ceremonial cacao-related services. Private 1:1 sessions are delivered by Charmaine Davis in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
2. Private 1:1 healing appointments
Luminous Living office hours are 10:00am–5:00pm. Pre-booked Private Shamanic Healing appointments are offered on Tuesdays only, with three appointment start times: 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm. The current age-based session structure is: ages 6–11 — 1 hour at £100; ages 12–16 — 1.5 hours at £150; adults — 2 hours at £200. These three start times apply regardless of age band or session duration.
A parent or guardian must make the booking for anyone under 18. The online child and young-person booking routes apply to ages 6–16; for a younger child, please contact Luminous Living before booking.
Appointments are confirmed once availability has been agreed, payment has been completed and Luminous Living has issued confirmation.
3. Booking, payment and confirmation
The live Tuesday calendar can place a provisional hold on an available appointment time so another website visitor cannot take the same slot. After the hold is placed, Luminous emails the correct secure Stripe-hosted payment route for the age band/session selected.
Please read these Private Client Terms and the applicable consumer information before paying. Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout and are not stored in Luminous website page code. The appointment becomes contractually confirmed only when the required terms and payment steps have been completed and Luminous has issued confirmation.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
The cancellation and rescheduling terms that apply to your appointment are supplied to you before payment and form part of your confirmed booking. Please read them before completing payment.
If you already have a confirmed appointment, the terms supplied or incorporated when that booking was confirmed continue to apply. If you need another copy, contact Luminous Living Ltd.
5. Before a private healing session
Wear comfortable clothing and eat lightly before your session. Allow the full appointment time and enough space afterwards not to feel rushed. Practical preparation or arrival information supplied in your confirmation should also be followed.
6. Nature and boundaries of the service
Private shamanic work may include guided journeying, ceremonial practice, energetic work, sound, breath, reflection and practitioner tools. The session is shaped around the individual and what is presenting at the time.
Luminous Living's shamanic and wellbeing services are complementary spiritual and wellbeing practices. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, emergency care or other regulated clinical services. If you need urgent medical or mental-health support, use the appropriate NHS or emergency service rather than the Luminous website.
7. Participation and personal responsibility
You may ask questions, raise concerns, pause or decline an activity. Please tell Luminous Living about any practical accessibility need or relevant concern that may affect safe participation so the session can be discussed appropriately.
8. Privacy
Information submitted through the website is handled in accordance with the Luminous Living Privacy Notice. The public booking form is for practical booking details only. Please do not enter diagnoses, medical records, detailed health histories or other sensitive health information into general website forms. If information of that kind is genuinely needed, Luminous will request only what is necessary through an appropriate process.
